Our client is one of the foremost processor of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment in the UK. Due to continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their Newbury site and oversee multiple recycling operations.

Pay &

Shift:

 * £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)

* Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00 plus every other Saturday worked.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop site management teams to meet operational, financial, safety and environmental targets

* Manage recycling infrastructure and processing machinery to ensure efficiency and compliance

* Champion Health & Safety policies and safe working practices across all sites

* Oversee recruitment, retention, and performance management of staff

* Monitor budgets, approve expenditures, and drive cost efficiencies

* Act as escalation point for operational issues and emergencies

* Ensure compliance with environmental permits and accurate reporting

* Promote continuous improvement to maximise productivity and reduce downtime

What We’re Looking For:

* WAMITAB Level 4 & CPC Managers Qualification (essential)

* Proven experience managing multi-site recycling or waste operations

* Strong commercial and financial management skills

* Expert knowledge of Health & Safety legislation (NEBOSH or IOSH preferred)

* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites

* Desirable: 360 excavator, HGV, and forklift licences
