Vodafone, a leading telecommunications and IoT connectivity provider, seeks a solution architect 阿 to design and evolve the enterprise architecture for our billing domain and IoT BSS services.

• Be responsible for the Enterprise Architecture of the billing domain, leading implementation, prioritising features with business and demand management teams, and driving innovation.
• Lead and drive the evolution of the IoT architecture, specifically the Digital IoT BSS domain with focus on Billing, Charging, and Revenue Management.
Develop high‑level enterprise architecture blueprints for the intermediate and target state covering the IoT BSS domain, especially Billing and Revenue Management.
• Lead initiatives to modernise and rationalise legacy billing systems, migrate to the cloud, and improve the customer experience.
• Define and develop a multi‑year roadmap for the IoT billing domain, evolving from the current state to the target

• Champion architectural governance, ensuring solutions align with Vodafone Group and IoT principles, strategy, and TMF standards.
• Work with product and sales executives, platform, and development teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.
• Perform impact assessments of new product feature development, produce high‑level option packs with cost and timeline estimates.
• Build or deliver proofs of concept demonstrating state‑of‑the‑art technology capabilities in BSS/OSS platforms.

Evaluate and select appropriate solutions for new projects, deciding between built‑in vs custom solutions, recommending technology vendors and build‑vs‑buy decisions.

• Experience designing complex, distributed, secure and scalable end‑to‑end architecture solutions in large organisations, preferably in the B2B market.
• Prior experience delivering telco BSS/OSS transformation programmes, specifically Billing and Charging.
• Strong knowledge of architecture best practices and design patterns, including:
• Experience modelling complex billing models, customer hierarchies, product models.
• Ability to design conceptual and logical data models.
• Database architecture, data modeling, SQL and No
  
  SQL approaches.
• Integration architectural patterns such as SOA, micro‑services, particularly with Apigee.
• Modern web architecture and serverless architecture.
• Container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Open Stack).
• In‑depth knowledge of Telco core network access technologies (3G, 4G, 5G).
• Proven experience conducting technical workshops, presenting solutions, and preparing architecture guidelines and strategykeepers.
• Experience producing high‑quality UML‑based architecture artefacts.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, TM Forum) and ability to propose tools and processes.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
