Nestled among the scenic rolling fields of chalk downlands, yet less than a mile from the M4, our 14 bedrooms offer the weary traveller an idyllic haven.

As a premium food-led pub with rooms, we pride ourselves on delivering warm, genuine hospitality and top-tier service that matches our one rosette menu. You'll be supporting the General Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations – from leading service on the floor and maintaining exceptional standards, to training and motivating the team. As the successful Assistant Manager you will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management.

You will be enthusiastic and driven to continue the success of our pub and play a pivotal part in ensuring delight for our customers. You will also be someone who is committed to their career in hospitality and we can offer ongoing development to support you as you grow and succeed with us.
