We’re looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in equine clinical practice and some prior experience in image acquisition or interpretation (e.g. radiography, MRI, CT or scintigraphy), who is eager to build on this in a supportive and collaborative environment.
You’ll need to be a good communicator, comfortable working alongside senior clinicians and referring vets, and capable of helping manage the day-to-day workflow of an active imaging service. A keen interest in equine lameness and diagnostic imaging is essential, along with a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of patient care.

- Assist in report generation, aiming to complete reports within 24 hours of imaging. Ensure reports are clinically relevant, include management recommendations, and are appropriately illustrated.
- Evaluate MRI/CT cases as needed, including lameness assessments and relevant treatments, in collaboration with the senior clinician responsible for the case.
- Communicate effectively with referring veterinarians and clients, keeping them updated on cases and being available for advice and support to both referring and in-house ambulatory vets.
- Support intern training, ensuring they are able to produce high-quality MRI, bone scan, CT images, and radiographs.
- Maintain accurate clinical notes in line with practice standards and ensure relevant information is shared with colleagues on joint cases.
- Ensure client billing is accurate and kept up to date.
