Join Our Passionate Equine Nursing Team in Berkshire. We’re a busy equine referral hospital based in Newbury, West Berkshire, looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Equine Nurse to join our growing team. • Care for both medical and surgical patients, assisting with anaesthesia.
• Ensure the smooth journey of every patient from admission to discharge.
• Participate in nurse consults and provide exceptional support to clients.
• Assist in theatre, administer medications, and support diagnostic imaging both in the hospital and on the road.

• Experience handling and caring for a wide range of horses, including racehorses, competition horses, or foals.
• Team player with a genuine passion for equine nursing and patient welfare.
• Confident, compassionate, and capable of working effectively in a collaborative environment.

• Full‑time position, up to 39 hours per week with weekend and bank holiday rota.
• Some shift work, covering nights and weekends to ensure continuous care.

Our hospital is fully equipped for imaging and surgery at any time of day or night, with facilities including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound with colour Doppler, endoscopy, arthroscopy, operating microscope, microsurgical equipment, slit lamp, and tonovet. These resources allow our nurses to deliver exceptional standards of care.

Located in Newbury, our practice sits within the beautiful Berkshire countryside, offering a blend of rural charm and modern convenience. The area provides outdoor activities, scenic riding routes, historic market towns, and excellent transport links to London, Oxford, and the South Coast.

• Competitive base salary up to £31,000 DOE.
