We are working in partnership with a School in Newbury to recruit a caring and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils with additional needs within a primary setting.

The Role:- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Support pupils with EHCPs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and independence
- Support pupils both in and out of the classroom, including during break times
- A welcoming, inclusive primary school in the Newbury area
- Supportive leadership team with a strong focus on SEN provision
- Collaborative staff and a positive learning environment
- Commitment to pupil wellbeing and development
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school or care setting)
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant SEN qualifications or training desirable but not essential
