Planner – Newbury

A well-established regional contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Planner to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of construction projects across the South of England.

The business has built a strong reputation delivering design & build projects across sectors including education, healthcare, commercial, leisure and residential developments. Projects range from community buildings and schools through to commercial developments and specialist facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Planner who wants to play a key role in programme development, project coordination and construction planning across multiple schemes.

The Role

* Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes using MS Project

* Work closely with project teams to produce baseline programmes, updates and progress reporting

* Identify programme risks, delays and opportunities for improvement

* Support project delivery teams with programme management and sequencing of works

* Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and senior management to ensure programmes remain achievable and realistic

* Assist with tender stage planning and programme development

Requirements

* Proven experience working as a Planner or Senior Planner within the construction industry

* Strong experience using MS Project (essential)

* Experience working on main contractor projects

* Ability to manage multiple programmes across different projects

* Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with project and site teams

Package

* Salary: £70,000 – £80,000
