About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. This role involves diagnostics, servicing, mechanical repairs, and preventive maintenance across a variety of prestige and fleet vehicles. It's perfect for a technician who enjoys technical challenges, hands-on work, and contributing to a high-performing professional workshop.
Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, engine, and transmission faults
Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance to manufacturer standards
Operate manufacturer-level diagnostic systems (TOPIX & ODIS)
Perform tyre work, air-conditioning servicing, and general mechanical repairs
Communicate clearly with customers about faults and recommended work
Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality standards
Experienced Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic with strong diagnostic skills
Proven ability to work independently and meet workshop targets
Passion for high-quality workmanship and customer service
Reliable, positive, and team-oriented professional
Genuine interest in prestige and performance vehicles
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (preferred)
MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not essential
Full UK driving licence (6 points or fewer)
Own tools preferred
