Vehicle Technician​/MOT Tester

£31,827 - £35,000 per annum, with an average uncapped bonus of £5,800 per annum (potential to earn more). 5 days a week. Earn extra with our refer a friend scheme (T&Cs apply).

At Halfords, we’re looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. If you’re an experienced mechanic with a passion for delivering excellent customer experience and keeping vehicles safe on the road, we want to hear from you.

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work, from advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services.
• Ensure every job is completed to the highest standard.

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience).
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Full driver’s licence with no more than 9 points.
