Emergency Vehicle Diesel Technician

Vector Fleet provides onsite, customized fleet maintenance solutions for clients in numerous states across the U.S. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, we manage multiple satellite operations at various contract sites across the country. We are currently accepting applications for qualified Emergency Vehicle Fire Truck Technicians (EVT) to support our customer’s fleet located in the Newberry County, SC area for 1st Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday.

• FULL Time position – 5-day work week (Mon-Fri) 7:30am-4:00pm
• Excellent HOURLY pay for the right candidate: $25-$38/hr depending on experience

• EVT Certification required
• 2+ years’ experience working on Fire trucks and/or ambulances
• Must have the ability to perform preventive and repair maintenance on diesel engines and emergency apparatus
• Technicians must own basic set of hand tools and wheeled toolbox suitable for daily use
• ASE or OEM Certifications highly desirable
• Trade School Certificates a plus
• Willingness and ability to advance technical training and certification in emergency vehicle repair
• Must have acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check
