The Opportunity

Are you a natural leader with a sharp eye for operational efficiency and a passion for customer service? We are seeking an Assistant Account Manager to join our leadership team. You will be the engine behind our daily operations, ensuring that our facility remains pristine, our team stays motivated, and our clients stay happy.

In this role, you aren’t just managing a schedule; you are managing a standard of excellence. You will oversee everything from budget compliance and safety protocols to the mentorship and development of our frontline staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Plan, organize, and supervise janitorial functions across all shifts, establishing clear workflows and high-quality work standards.
  • Financial Stewardship: Control expenses for all janitorial operations, review job costs, and make real-time adjustments to meet budget compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the recruitment, orientation, and training of supervisory and support personnel. You will be responsible for coaching, motivating, and developing a high-performing team.
  • Client Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for the client, ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations and proactively troubleshooting any issues.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all environmental and safety procedures meet Local, State, Federal, and Company requirements while maintaining accurate personnel records.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 3–5 years in a supervisory capacity, preferably within facilities, janitorial, or hospitality management.
  • Strategic Planning: Proven ability to forecast productivity, staffing needs, and budgets.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing teams, with a solid understanding of HR policies and safety administration.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex client relationships and provide professional feedback.
