Kitchen Utility / Dishwasher
Starting wages: $16.31 - $18.20/hr doe
Shift: Variable Hour, Part-time, or Full Time
Weekends are required
. 7:00 am-3:00 pm
Our campus has recently expanded with the addition of several new multi-level facilities, and we are looking to fill the key role of Kitchen Utility in our Dining Services department.
We are looking for a reliable and careful team member to help keep our kitchen clean and safe. This job includes washing dishes, helping with simple food prep, cleaning equipment, and following safety rules. The best person for this job will be a good team player, upholding our community values, and treat everyone kindly and with respect.
Come help our wonderful kitchen staff perform a variety of food service functions to maintain clean and sanitary conditions of food service areas, facilities, and equipment. This person may also assist in some aspects of food prep and must be at least 14 years of age.
Responsibilities- Wash and clean dishes, tools, and kitchen areas; put things away in the right places
- Help with simple food prep and restock food and supplies when needed
- Keep everything clean and follow safety and health rules
- Tell a manager if something is broken and go to staff and safety meetings
- Be a good team member, act respectfully, and be kind to others
- Follow schedules, uniform policies, and confidentiality standards
- Basic English communication skills required; high school diploma preferred
- You must pass a background check and drug test, and show you can work in the U.S.
- You must come to work on time; you may need a driver’s license if the job involves driving
- Minimum age 14 years
