Overview
Family Pet Clinic of Newburg is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. This is a great opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who are eager to fully utilize their training while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets in a supportive, team-focused environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, and dental cleanings with radiographs
- Support efficient exam room flow while delivering clear, compassionate client communication
- Review treatment plans, provide thorough discharge instructions, and confidently address client questions
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and teammates to carry out outpatient care and ensure the highest standard of patient care
Family Pet Clinic of Newburg is a well-established, full-service veterinary practice serving Newburg and the surrounding community. Our six-doctor team is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a warm, family-focused environment. We care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets and offer a wide range of services including preventive care, dentistry, surgery, and diagnostics. This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays.
Benefits- Compensation: $24 - $28 per hour, for each hour worked
- Bonus package: $2000
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

- 4+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Oregon
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Client communication
- Anesthesia induction/monitoring
- Dental prophy
- IVC placement
- Outpatient care
