Registered Nurse - MS/Tele

Location:

- Newberg, OR, 97132

Duration:

- 13 Weeks

Shift:

- Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Pay rate:

- $60- $68/hr W2.

Responsibilities of Registered Nurse - MS/Tele
  • Assess patients' medical conditions, formulate nursing diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, interpreting and responding promptly to changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, procedures, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions following established protocols.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Requirements for Registered Nurse - MS/Tele

Qualifications:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of [state name].
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
    Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Minimum of [X] years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, preferably in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required; additional certifications such as PALS and TNCC preferred.
  • Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practice.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move freely throughout the workday.
  • Capable of lifting and transferring patients with assistance as needed.
  • Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient condition and respond to alarms.
  • Manual dexterity to perform nursing procedures and administer medications.
Working Conditions:
  • Rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, and hazardous materials.
  • Collaboration with diverse patient populations and healthcare team members.
