Maintenance Technician

Friendsview Retirement Community (Newberg, OR)

Starting Wages: $25.75 - $31.00/hr doe

Training

Schedule:

8 am to 4:30 pm training

Regular schedule: 12 pm
-8:30 pm, Monday
-Friday with some weekends required.

This is a full-time position with benefits.

• Fix and Maintain:
  Help with plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and simple electrical repairs.
• Work with a Team:
  Team up with your supervisor and other technicians to get jobs done.
• Tools and Equipment:
  Use and maintain tools to make sure everything runs smoothly.
• Follow Safety Rules:
  Keep everyone safe by following safety guidelines.
• Work Orders:
  Keep track of tasks and let others know the status.
• Train New Staff:
  Help show new team members how things are done.
• Event Support:
  Help set up for community events and assist with safety drills as needed.

• Great Team:
  Work with a friendly group of people who care about making a difference.
• Flexibility:
  Some evening or weekend work may be needed.
• Make an Impact:
  Your work helps keep residents comfortable and safe.

• 2-4 years of experience in maintenance or similar work.
• Ability to work with tools and fix basic problems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background check, DMV check and drug test.

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and work on your feet for long periods.
