About the Job
George Fox University Master of Social Work program is searching for an organized and collaborative Program Coordinator to support faculty, staff, students, and visitors. The Coordinator will manage complex administrative and budgetary tasks, ensure smooth program operations, and advance the College of Social Work strategic goals.
Responsibilities- Program Administration & Operations
- Manage cost‑center budgets, faculty contracts, and student records.
- Develop course schedules, coordinate classrooms, and maintain departmental calendars.
- Order and manage course materials and office supplies.
- Assist with expense reimbursements, office moves, and instructional technology needs.
- Student Services & Enrollment Support
- Oversee MSW enrollment and registration processes.
- Direct students to academic resources and maintain online platforms for students and alumni.
- Collaborate with student representatives on program initiatives.
- Practicum Education Support
- Communicate with practicum faculty and agency partners.
- Manage student background checks and coordinate liability compliance.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Practicum Education.
- Assist practicum adjuncts with their responsibilities.
- Events, Accreditation & Data Management
- Plan and execute events ranging from small meetings to large‑scale programs such as orientation, commencement, and accreditation visits.
- Maintain data for accreditation, enrollment, cohort planning, and curricular assessment.
- Coordinate faculty candidate and accreditation visits, including travel and reimbursements.
- Graduate Admissions & Marketing Support
- Support the graduate admissions process.
- Collaborate with admissions and marketing teams on program communications.
- Coordinate communications for admitted and incoming students.
- Maintain and update internal and external web pages and social media.
- Institutional Collaboration & Professional Development
- Attend required meetings and training to support program operations.
- Communicate courteously with employees, students, and the public.
- Model Christian leadership and service to students.
- Demonstrate respect for diversity and inclusive teamwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate’s Degree with equivalent work experience.
- 1‑3 years of successful clerical and administrative support, preferably in higher education.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and other administrative software.
- Integrity and discretion in maintaining confidentiality.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
