The Retail Sales Associate assists customers and maintains store appearance. Responsibilities include customer service, register operation, merchandising, and store maintenance.

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter, exit, and approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the register.
• Know all promotions and advertisements to answer questions and support Ollie’s Army and donation programs.
• Maintain a neat and organized front end work area.
• Assist with receiving trucks, pricing items, merchandising, and restocking.
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain overall store cleanliness.
• Complete additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks within strict deadlines.
• Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact well with customers and Associates.

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
