Machine Operator, Degreasing – 3rd Shift

Position: Machine Operator, Degreasing Third Shift

Location: Newark, Ohio

Reports to: Production Manager

Shifts: Third Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11:30 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Pay: $18.00/hour

Job Summary: This production floor position is responsible for the efficient operation of a degreaser by monitoring all steps to ensure that all parts come out clean and ready for anodizing.

• Properly load parts in baskets and unload parts after degreasing process
• Weigh parts following degreasing and complete any required written records
• Set and operate scales to do accurate piece counts
• Ensure different part numbers and customer orders are not mixed on a skid
• Use pallet jack to pull product to the degreasing lines
• Ability to multi‑task and work at a fast pace
• Maintain a clean work area including, not limited to:
  • Empty trash
  • Sweep degreasing area
  • Mop floor as needed
• Other duties as directed

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages.
• Able to differentiate between different part numbers and read/write in English for required written records.
• Use a hand‑held calculator.
• Work independently with little supervision.
• Wear safety equipment, including safety glasses, steel‑toed shoes, arm guards, and gloves.
