PositionSummary
Performs administrative duties for the Development Department.
Responsibilities- Prepares correspondence, reports, memorandums, agendas, minutes, forms, tables, etc. for various council and committee meetings.
- Creates, maintains, and manages databases, including preparation of mailing lists and mail program audits for several groups.
- Updates and maintains calendars, schedules, rosters, and contact groups.
- Provides direct support to the department Director and Development team.
- Collects and reports data.
- Assists with maintaining department dashboard.
- Answers telephone and follows through with assisting customers, transfers, or recording messages.
- Manages ISO Document Control.
- Assists with coverage for Assistant to the Vice President Development & Public Relations.
- Distributes daily department mail.
- Monitors department email.
- Assists with meetings and events as needed.
- Completes all Web Ed requirements as assigned.
- Ensures that personal performance reflects the mission, vision, and standards of behavior and departmental goals.
- Provides coverage for other staff as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum requirement, two years of experience and high school diploma/GED.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Prioritizes and organizes work effectively.
- Exercises discretion, judgment and initiative.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficiently operates various office equipment, including telephone, computer, printer/copier.
- LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
