Position

Summary

Performs administrative duties for the Development Department.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, memorandums, agendas, minutes, forms, tables, etc. for various council and committee meetings.
  • Creates, maintains, and manages databases, including preparation of mailing lists and mail program audits for several groups.
  • Updates and maintains calendars, schedules, rosters, and contact groups.
  • Provides direct support to the department Director and Development team.
  • Collects and reports data.
  • Assists with maintaining department dashboard.
  • Answers telephone and follows through with assisting customers, transfers, or recording messages.
  • Manages ISO Document Control.
  • Assists with coverage for Assistant to the Vice President Development & Public Relations.
  • Distributes daily department mail.
  • Monitors department email.
  • Assists with meetings and events as needed.
  • Completes all Web Ed requirements as assigned.
  • Ensures that personal performance reflects the mission, vision, and standards of behavior and departmental goals.
  • Provides coverage for other staff as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum requirement, two years of experience and high school diploma/GED.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Prioritizes and organizes work effectively.
  • Exercises discretion, judgment and initiative.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiently operates various office equipment, including telephone, computer, printer/copier.
  • LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
