Operations Supervisor

Academy Bus, a leader in passenger transportation, is seeking a full-time Operations Supervisor for our Port Authority operations at Newark Liberty International Airport.

As an Operations Supervisor, you will work closely with the Port Authority landside managers and supervisors and be responsible for supervising and coordinating our drivers, field operations personnel, fleet maintenance, customers, and vendor engagement on-site at our Port Authority operations hub. You will partner closely with all teams, to support the overall safety and efficiency of service while providing exceptional customer service.

Compensation Range: $65,000- $70,000 per year. Compensation commensurate with experience level.

• Coordinate our drivers and fleet of 47 buses for daily operations with the Port Authority landside manager and supervisors
• Supervise Field Dispatchers
• Track billable hours
• Track bus washing and fueling
• Engage with outside vendors (Passio and Chargepoint)
• Respond to and resolve passenger complaints

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish
• Internal candidate with knowledge of our internal Line Run, Charter, and Saucon systems is ideal
• Experience with bus transportation scheduling/dispatching
• CDL with passenger endorsement is a plus but not required
