Omni-Serv partners with the passenger airlines industry and carrier services to perform various aviation roles.
Shift Supervisor available for full-time work with a flexible schedule at Newark Liberty International Airport. The candidate should maintain a professional demeanor, be a team player, and have a positive “can do” attitude.
The Shift Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact during their assigned shift and ensures operational continuity. This role oversees and supports daily operational activities during assigned shifts, collaborates with airport authorities and internal teams to uphold high levels of service excellence, handles administrative duties, and fosters a culture of accountability, integrity, and professionalism throughout the organization.
Compensation$22.00 - $26.00 per hour (Based on experience). Medical, Vision, Dental, Life insurance, 401k.
ShiftTo be determined based on operational needs. Days off to be determined.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight to employees to ensure operational efficiency.
- Support onboarding and training of new employees.
- Address and resolve operational issues, delays, and service disruptions.
- Maintain accurate shift reports, incident logs, and operational documentation.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and reassign resources as needed.
- Enforce company policies, safety standards, and performance expectations.
- Collaborate closely with managers to address any operational issues and concerns.
- Conduct daily rounds to ensure contractual operational shift staffing needs are satisfied.
- Lead, inspire and foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and collaboration.
- Minimum 3 years of airport operations experience preferred.
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Familiarity with FAA, TSA, OSHA, and airport regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather.
- Knowledgeable in software such as Microsoft Office Suite and operational reporting systems.
- Valid US driver’s license with at least 3 years of experience. Approvals and final decision are subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying and inclement weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Requires standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and frequent movement.
