Truck Driver Local Class A

• Class A Routes earn from $82,000 to $88,000 annually
• Class B Routes earn $70,000 annually

When:
Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 from 9 am to 4 pm

Where:
Courtyard Marriott, 17 Westage Drive, Fishkill, NY 12524

• Perform multi‑stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload the trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

• Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday with a dispatch from 6 pm to 2 am

• CDL Class A required
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3 years of MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required

While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lb/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lb/45 kg.

The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
