Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
Our client in Burlington County, NJ is seeking a Software Developer III to design, develop, and support technical solutions that drive operational efficiency and measurable business value. This role follows Agile best practices (SCRUM, SAFe, XP, pair programming) and plays a key part in delivering high-quality software increments on a consistent basis.
This is a hands-on development position for someone who takes full ownership of projects — from requirements through deployment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, test, document, and maintain system programs using standard development practices
- Follow established coding standards including check-in policies, naming conventions, static code analysis, documentation, and unit testing
- Support production releases and provide end-user training when needed
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot logic or coding issues
- Design and implement enhancements to file structures and interrelated systems
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to monthly delivery commitments
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
- Take ownership of assigned projects from requirements through deployment
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical skill development
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Structured and/or Object-Oriented Programming
- Advanced experience with Data Structures and SQL
- Strong experience in a .NET environment
- Systems Analysis and Design experience
- Experience supporting or implementing complex integration projects
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Understanding of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work in a pair programming environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset with leadership qualities
- Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
- 5+ years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft tools and languages
