Security Officer - Flex - All Shifts - $18/hr

Pay: $18/hr with weekly pay.

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
• Control access to buildings and restricted areas.
• Report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies in accordance with established procedures.
• Complete incident and shift reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service while ensuring rules and regulations are followed.

• Trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need; assignment is not permanent.
• Schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week) varies with operational need.
• Assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
• Some shifts scheduled in advance; short‑notice shifts may be required.
• Must communicate availability changes with supervisor.
• For short‑notice call‑ins, expected to work at least 80% of assigned shifts; refusing more than 20% may negatively impact employment status.

• Valid NJ SORA security guard license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security or leadership training a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in security.
• Strong observation and communication skills; ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in high‑pressure situations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to write clear reports.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work indoors/outdoors as needed.

• CPR / First Aid certification.
• Experience with security for trucking and logistics companies.
• Military or law enforcement background.
