Our client, an internationally known pump manufacturer, is searching for an experienced pump salesperson to sell new units for large projects into the Water/Wastewater market. The territory is the eastern United States and a candidate may live anywhere in the territory.
The water project account manager’s primary responsibility is to increase penetration into existing accounts and to research the market in order to develop new accounts. The account manager will be working with engineers, municipalities and the Army Corp of Engineers.
A candidate must have a minimum of two year's engineered pump experience and a strong rotating equipment background with pumps, compressors, turbines, mechanical seals, bearings or couplings.
The successful candidate will have a track record of success, a willingness to travel, and be a hunter rather that a farmer.
The company provides compensation competitive with the industry which includes a base salary plus uncapped commissions.
