Req #:

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Maintain safety in practice and apply evidence-based practice; communicate with and utilize resource persons and programs to advance knowledge of the patient care team.
• Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Maintain knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervise and direct the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborate with other patient care providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• Utilize the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize the plan of care to address each patient s needs.

Required:

• ASN or Nursing Diploma from a nationally accredited school
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

• BSN from a nationally accredited school
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience

Certifications and Licenses

Required:

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
• BLS from the American Heart Association

• Day Shift, 36 per week
• Full Time
• Monday - Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice and comply with ethical standards.
• Ensure safety and advance knowledge through communication with the care team.
• Report safety issues and medical errors as identified.
• Know the patient population served.
• Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with other providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes.
• Act as an interdisciplinary team manager and apply the nursing process to individualize care.
