The following statements describe major elements and requirements of the position and should not be taken as an all-inclusive list. The Patient Transporter transports patients to and from departments. Other duties include, but are not limited to, greeting and assisting patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner.

Education and Work Experience

• Transportation experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification desired.
• Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a High School diploma or equivalent.

Saint Michael s Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation range for this role is $18.52 per hour. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status.
