Registered Nurse (RN) Coronary Care Unit-C6 Unit Full Time Night

The position is a full‑time night shift RN in the Coronary Care Unit (C6) at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, 201 Lyons Avenue, Newark, NJ. Pay range is $47.85 – $64.03 per hour.

Qualifications:

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

• BSN
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience

Certifications and Licenses

Required:

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
• BLS from the American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

• Night Shift, 36 hours 7p‑7:30a
• Full Time
• Monday‑Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation

Essential Functions:

• Provide nursing care within scope of practice and regulatory standards.
• Assure safety, maintain evidence‑based practice and advance knowledge of team.
• Report safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Know the patient population served and supervise delegation of tasks.
• Set and evaluate priorities through interventions and measurable outcomes.
• Integrate all aspects of care and individualize the plan of care.
