Registered Nurse (RN) Cardio Program Care Telemetry Full Time Day

Pay Range: $46.48 - $62.09 per hour

Location: 201 Lyons Avenue, Newark, NJ

Shift: Day

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is a 665‑bed qua ternary teaching hospital located in Newark, NJ. The Cardio Program Care/Telemetry team delivers comprehensive cardiac care to patients, and this RN position plays a critical role in ensuring high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care, patient safety, and effective communication within the interdisciplinary team.

Required:

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

• BSN
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience

• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license with NJ endorsement
• BLS from the American Heart Association

• Day Shift, 36 hours, 7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Full Time
• Monday – Friday, every other weekend, and holiday rotation

• Provide nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, maintaining ethical practice and evidence‑based care.
• Promote patient safety, report hazards and medical errors, and maintain clear documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, delegating tasks and supporting team members.
• Set and evaluate priorities to achieve measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Individualize patient care plans, integrating the nursing process and ensuring patients receive optimal care.
