We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: PICU Registered Nurse in Newark, NJ.

  -on the unit monitoring, Insulin administration, Management of gastric tubes, NG tube insertion/ management, Isolation Precautions, Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of blood & blood products, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, TPN/Lipids, Antiarrhythmics, Anti-Seizure Medications, Continuous Sedation, IV vasopressors, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Use of Broselow system, Assist with lumbar puncture, Hydrocephalus/VP shunt, Assist/maintain chest tube, Assist/manage intubation, BiPAP/CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy care, Acute/chronic renal failure, Peritoneal dialysis, Pre/Post Hemodialysis, Urinary catheter insertion/management, Infection control/PPE

• Pay: $960/shift
