Job Opportunity – Pediatric ICU RN – New Jersey

Start Date: February 9, 2026
Location: Newark, New Jersey
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment; every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday); patient ratios 1:2+ based on acuity

Highlights:

• 13-week contract with structured orientation and team-based care model

• Experience with cardiac patients, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator management valued

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of PICU critical care experience; 1 year cardiac experience strongly preferred
• BLS and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, and tracheostomy care required
• Competency with Medtronic pacemakers and telemetry monitoring required
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays during contract period
• Completion of approximately 18 hours of pre-start training modules and 4 hours of EPIC training
