Job Overview – RN Site Manager (Outpatient Clinic)
Compensation: $55/hour
Location:
Newark, NJ
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Required weekend on-call duties)
TAG Med Staffing is hiring an RN Site Manager (Outpatient Clinic) in Newark, NJ for our client. In this temp-to-perm leadership role, you will oversee outpatient nursing operations, staff performance, and quality and compliance initiatives. Qualified candidates must hold an active New Jersey RN license and have outpatient nursing experience with supervisory or administrative responsibility.
Responsibilities as the RN Site Manager (Outpatient Clinic):
- Clinical Staff Leadership: Lead the recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and evaluation of nursing and nutrition staff while ensuring appropriate staffing coverage and clinical competency.
- Quality Assurance & Risk Management: Oversee nursing quality assurance activities, chair the Risk Management Committee, and manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action plans.
- Infection Control & Patient Safety: Chair the Infection Control Committee and ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, workplace safety standards, and patient safety initiatives.
- Scheduling & Workforce Management: Coordinate staff schedules, approve time off and leaves, and support ongoing clinical education and training requirements.
- Compliance & Clinical Operations: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while monitoring utilization, productivity, and performance metrics to support quality improvement.
Qualifications for the RN Site Manager (Outpatient Clinic):
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey required.
- Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting, including administrative, supervisory, or managerial responsibilities.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of electronic clinical systems required, with experience using eClinical
Works (eCW) strongly preferred. - Leadership & Administration: Proven ability to manage clinical staff, oversee operational workflows, and lead quality, risk, and compliance initiatives.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational and communication skills, sound clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
