A respected leader in HVAC, Building Automation, and Data Center Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Service Manager (BAS Controls) to oversee BAS service operations in Newark, NJ. - Lead and manage day-to-day operations for the BAS field service team
- Coordinate service response with clients and internal project managers
- Assign technicians based on skillset, workload, and service priority
- Track and update service calls, dispatch schedules, and performance metrics
- Serve as the main escalation point for complex BAS/BMS service situations
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new field technicians
- Implement SOPs to improve response time, workflow, and service quality
- Support commissioning, startup, and functional testing of BMS systems
- Troubleshoot controller, network, and sequence-related issues
- Adjust wire sheet logic, modify programming, and update documentation
- Verify sequence of operations and maintain commissioning records
- Provide customer training on BAS functionality, usage, and maintenance best practices
