• Serve as a hands‑on analyst on FHIR implementation initiatives, supporting design, build, testing, and deployment of FHIR‑based data solutions
• Analyse healthcare data domains (e.g., Member, Eligibility, Coverage, Claims, Prior Authorization, Clinical data) and map them to appropriate FHIR resources and profiles
• Interpret and apply FHIR Implementation Guides (IGs) such as payer, provider, or regulatory IGs (e.g., US Core, Da Vinci, CARIN) to implementation work
• Create and maintain FHIR mappings, resource definitions, extensions, and value set bindings
• Collaborate with architects and developers on FHIR API design, payload structure, search parameters, and versioning strategies
• Validate FHIR conformance using tools such as FHIR validators, test servers, and reference implementations
• Support data quality, normalization, and transformation efforts between source systems and FHIR endpoints
• Participate in end‑to‑end testing, including unit, integration, and UAT, ensuring alignment with IG requirements and business use cases
• Produce high‑quality documentation including data mappings, FHIR resource specifications, conformance notes, and test scenarios
• Act as a subject matter expert for FHIR‑related questions across technical and business teams

• 5+ years of healthcare data or systems analysis experience, with at least 2+ years focused on FHIR implementations
• Demonstrated, hands‑on experience delivering real FHIR projects (not just conceptual knowledge)
• Strong understanding of HL7 FHIR R4 resources, profiles, extensions, value sets, and terminology services
• Proven experience working with FHIR Implementation Guides (IGs) and applying them to production solutions
• Experience with healthcare data standards such as HL7 v2, CDA, X12, and mapping them to FHIR
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
• Ability to work closely with engineers while independently owning data analysis and mapping work
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
