Contract Type: Contract to Hire

Location: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite in Newark, NJ)

Pay rate: up to $65hr on W2.

• Develop advanced data science solutions as defined by the Director, Data Science
• Perform hands‑on data analysis, model development, training, testing, and deployment
• Research and apply new methods, algorithms, and modeling techniques
• Write production‑ready code and work with ML engineers to deploy models
• Collaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines and integrate solutions with business platforms
• Support model development for customer engagement and wellness initiatives
• Manage external vendors involved in the data science development process

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a quantitative discipline:
  Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Actuarial Science, or related fields
• Experience solving complex problems and applying judgment in dynamic environments
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Familiarity with designing experiments (e.g., A/B testing), working with claims or customer experience data
• A background in behavioral science (preferred but not required)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills
• Self‑driven, with a strong focus on continuous learning
