Job Summary:
Panasonic Connect North America is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data & Integration Engineer to support their cloud-based data and automation initiatives. The role involves developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting scalable data workflows and integrations to support business operations and analytics objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing and building automated workflows using Azure Logic Apps to streamline business processes.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using Azure Synapse pipelines.
• Write and maintain Python scripts for data manipulation, integration, and automation.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and integration workflows.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support maintainability and team knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate alternative technical approaches and recommend optimal solutions.
• Work across technical and non-technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Thrive in a Ability to grasp technical system processing and data flow quickly.
• Sound decision-making skills based on available information with strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Work closely with internal teams to support day-to-day application operations across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with technical leads on troubleshooting, new design discussions, and solutioning.
• Ensure smooth integration and data flow across enterprise applications.
• Understand transactional data requirements and ensure systems meet those needs.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2-4 years of experience in data architecture components: integration, data management, and data consumption.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps and cloud integration concepts.
• Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics and cloud-based data platforms.
• Exposure to Python scripting for automation and data handling.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD practices using Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Actions.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and adopt industry best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Familiarity with batch and real-time data processing.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Agile and adaptable to frequent changes in priorities and requirements.
• Strong collaboration skills in team-oriented environments.
• Ability to support organizational and process change in complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to grasp technical system processing and data flow quickly.
• Sound decision-making skills based on available information.
• Capable of creating and executing communication plans with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Travel Requirement: 10% travel to various locations in North America to meet with IT team or onsite for project execution.
Preferred:
• 2-4 years of Agile development experience is a plus.
• Experience with Azure Databricks is a plus.
• Microsoft Certified:
Azure Data Engineer Associate is a plus.
