Position OverviewTelos Advisers is seeking an Analyst to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate with strong analytical, research, and communication skills, and a passion for infrastructure, public policy, and transportation. An Analyst will support the Telos team by conducting research, developing proposals, and helping to craft recommendations that shape the advancement of projects in transportation and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Support project teams by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from developing infrastructure and transit projects.
- Conduct research on infrastructure policy, project finance, and transportation trends across the U.S.
- Develop analytical tools and contribute to models used for forecasting, cost‑benefit analysis, and capital planning.
- Prepare client‑facing deliverables, including reports, presentations, and memos summarizing technical findings.
- Collaborate with senior staff to design research approaches, evaluate project alternatives, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
- Maintain attention to detail and analytical rigor in all work products, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a workplace setting preferred (internships or part‑time roles acceptable).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large datasets.
- Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to translate data and technical concepts into clear, concise insights.
- Demonstrated interest in transportation, infrastructure finance, or public‑sector advisory work.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
- Work directly with experienced advisors on projects that influence how infrastructure is funded, delivered, and operated.
