Talent Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Employee Relations
This full-time, non-exempt position, under the supervision of the Human Resource Manager and is responsible for managing and facilitating all recruiting efforts for the designated location from start to finish. This process includes but is not limited to understanding departmental needs, sourcing candidates using various methods, and acting as a liaison between the candidate and hiring managers.
Job Requirements- Work with local management to identify staffing needs
- Create and manage the internal and external job posting processes.
- Sourcing and screening candidates using internal and external databases (i.e. Applicant track log, Recruiting database)
- Coordinating and scheduling interviews with appropriate supervisors
- Conducting interviews and phone screenings
- Attending job fairs and other recruitment events.
- Coordinate drug testing for new hires using outside testing facility
- Coordinating onboarding/orientation of new hires
- Maintain PREA and ACA Standards/requirements
- Coordinating with IT to ensure proper onboarding processes are followed
- Create and Maintain personnel packets/files for new hires and current employees in accordance with company and contracting agency
- Ensuring compliance with annual requirements such as I-9’s, background screening and credentials
- Participating in mandatory training and staff development sessions
- Processing pre-employment clearance request (BOP/DOC/Parole), background checks and any related employment correspondence
- Assisting with the coordination of employee engagement/morale activities
- Posting internal vacancies
- Maintain clearance through contracting agencies
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned
Two years of recruitment experience required.
KnowledgeLocal, State and Federal laws affecting the employment process
Principles of management and organizational structure. Interviewing techniques. Computers and human resource information systems.
AbilitiesPlan, organize and control effectively;
Communicate effectively with all levels in the organization individually and in-groups;
Sit, stand, stoop, bend, walk, climb stairs and lift minimal weight;
Maintain integrity, and confidentiality; and
Clear through contracting agencies. Maintain confidentiality. Multi-task and provide attention to detail.
Education RequirementsOne
-two years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with three years of experience in the Human Resources field.
