Overview

Serenity Hospice Care is seeking compassionate volunteers to serve as End-of-Life Doulas for patients across New Jersey. Locations may include facilities and in-home settings (examples:
Tinton Falls, Brick, Freehold, Newark, Lakewood, Toms River, East Orange, Hammonton, Galloway, and others).

• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals receiving end-of-life care.
• Offer practical assistance such as light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, and transportation as needed.
• Respect and honor the wishes and beliefs of patients and their families.
• Provide a compassionate presence to family members and caregivers and support the hospice team.

• Certification/Training in End-of-Life Doula or willingness to complete hospice volunteer training and orientation.
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect boundaries.
• Availability for flexible scheduling.
