Surgical Physician Assistant – Saint Michael's Medical Center, Newark, NJ.

• Serve as First Assistant in the operating room for cardiothoracic cases.
• Perform open and endoscopic vein harvesting.
• Assist with pre‑operative and post‑operative patient management, including cardiac pacemakers, chest tubes, and critical‑care procedures.
• Conduct clinical tasks such as lab draws, vital signs, injections, and other clinical skills.
• Effectively communicate with patients and other staff while maintaining professional standards.

• Current and valid PA license.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained continuously.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Cardiothoracic PA.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
