Senior Associate, Capital Markets – Private Equity (Media and Entertainment) The Role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Capital Markets team and serve as a strategic leader in our financing efforts. You will lead the design and execution of complex leveraged finance and structured finance transactions, with a particular emphasis on esoteric Asset‑Backed Securities (ABS). This role requires a sophisticated understanding of how to monetize unique intellectual property through innovative credit structures, managing high‑level banking relationships, and optimizing the firm’s cost of capital to support aggressive growth.

• Esoteric ABS & Structured Finance: Lead the end‑to‑end execution of securitization transactions, specifically focusing on esoteric ABS structures backed by royalty streams and media rights.
• Capital Structure Optimization: Work closely with the investment committee to oversee the firm’s total capital structure, ensuring debt transactions align with long‑term portfolio objectives.
• Strategic Relationship Management: Manage and expand a deep network of commercial banks, investment banks, and institutional credit investors to secure favorable terms for complex financing solutions.
• High‑Stakes Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of complex term sheets, intercreditor agreements, and offering documents, coordinating closely with legal and tax teams.
• Financial Engineering: Create and oversee the development of sophisticated financial models to evaluate the impact of various leverage levels and hedging strategies on portfolio IRR.
• Market Intelligence: Provide expert insights into credit market shifts, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in the ABS space to identify opportunistic financing windows.

• Experience: 7–10+ years of experience in investment banking (Lev Fin or Structured Finance), private equity, or capital markets.
• Technical Expertise: Proven track record of leading esoteric ABS or structured credit transactions from inception to closing.
• Instrument Mastery: Deep expertise in debt instruments including securitizations, warehouse facilities, and revolving credit lines.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing complex transactions and navigating high‑level negotiations with financial institutions.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics; an MBA or CFA is highly preferred for this level.
• Skills: Mastery of Excel‑based financial modeling and the ability to distill complex structured finance concepts for the Investment Committee.

• Direct experience in entertainment‑related financing or royalty‑backed securitizations.
• An established network of credit investors and structured finance desks at major global banks.
