The Global Real Estate Securities Group maintains a focus on multiple public equity investment strategies, with current assets under management of over $5 billion. This team currently has an opening for a senior level position with responsibility for assisting in the management of our global platforms for the REIT equities portfolios. The position is located in Newark, NJ.
What You Can Expect- Maintain coverage of one or more property sectors within the REIT universe
- Make stock recommendations
- Conduct macroeconomic and real estate research
- Analyze public documents and SEC filings
- Develop and maintain valuation models for your coverage universe
- Attend on-site property tours
- Attend industry conferences
- Evaluate management teams
- Fulfill various other portfolio and investment management responsibilities.
- 5-10 years of experience analyzing REIT equity securities, required
- REIT Industry experience, required
- A strong academic background/Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- A solid understanding of Financial/Statistical Analysis and Accounting
- Concrete analytical abilities
- Strong knowledge of Excel including modeling
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform well both independently and within a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong quantitative abilities
- High degree of proficiency in Windows, Excel, Bloomberg, Word and PowerPoint is essential
- MBA or CFA a plus

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $215,000 to $240,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
