Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Motor Control Electrical Engineer, based in Newark, NJ. The key responsibilities include designing and developing electrical control systems, creating and reviewing electrical designs, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, and engaging in the optimization of control systems to support high‑performance superconducting technologies. The engineer will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address complex challenges in the field of energy, medical, and research applications.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Electrical Controls and Control Systems Design
- Experience in Electrical Engineering and Electrical Design
- Strong diagnostic and Troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems
- Advanced understanding of high-temperature superconductors and cryogenic systems is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Familiarity with industry‑standard tools and software for electrical design
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
