We are looking for a Municipal Engineer to manage and support a range of public infrastructure, capital improvement, and permitting projects. The ideal candidate has experience working with municipalities and a solid background in civil engineering design, permitting, and construction oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical resource for municipal engineering projects including roadways, stormwater systems, utilities, and public infrastructure.
- Assist in planning, budgeting, and reviewing engineering designs for municipal projects.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with local governments, developers, and contractors to ensure project compliance.
- Provide construction-phase services, including site inspections and review of contractor submittals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in municipal engineering or public infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with state and local permitting processes.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software preferred.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
