Digital Delivery Specialist – WSP (Newark, NJ)

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Digital Delivery Specialist for our EWR Airport Program Management in Newark, NJ. This role reports to WSP USA’s National Transportation Digital Delivery team and focuses on implementing BIM initiatives across the New York and New Jersey Regions.

Responsibilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, including advanced modeling, custom family creation, drawing package management, clash detection, and scripting.
  • Focus on helping projects meet Key Performance Indicators and contribute to the overall success of the EWR Airport Program.
  • Support Project Management with contract administration.
  • Prepare project related reports and analysis.
  • Anticipate and recognize issues related to own work.
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews of Design‑Builder deliverables in both Revit and Civil 3D.
  • Review contract documents.
  • Self‑educate and mentor drafting staff and engineers in BIM techniques.
  • Assist project/design managers with input on schedule and production tasks.
  • Champion the firm’s core values and inspire others.
  • Understand overall project scope, BIM team roles, and other discipline roles.
  • Demonstrate intermediate written and verbal communication.
  • Assist with managing the development and output of document sets for WSP engineering staff.
  • Perform Revit project setups and updates with guidance.
  • Implement drawing organization for large, complex drawing packages across multiple companies.
  • Facilitate collaboration and clash detection for large, multi‑disciplined teams across multiple companies.
  • Troubleshoot general Civil 3D/Revit project‑related issues with limited assistance.
  • Develop and mentor staff on WSP Revit standards and processes.
  • Self‑check work and staff to identify QA/QC improvement opportunities.
  • Leverage tools and technology to provide quality solutions to BIM teams and staff.
Required Qualifications
  • High school Diploma or GED required.
  • 8 years’ experience using Revit & Navisworks technologies within the A/E/C industry.
  • 7+ years’ experience with Navisworks and Revit documentation and management.
  • Experience and understanding of document management applications (SharePoint, E‑builder, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.).
  • Experience managing and reviewing project deliverables including planning and design documents, project reports, scopes of work, proposals, etc.
  • Proven ability to understand and recognize complex design problems.
  • Effective communication skills with a team‑oriented attitude.
  • Active listening and clear verbal communication.
  • Customer‑oriented mindset following company procedures.
  • Detail‑oriented; ability to pay attention to minute details.
  • Initiative to make decisions and take actions to solve problems.
  • Inclusive and respectful of diversity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, or engineering.
  • Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit (preferred).

Compensation

Expected Salary (Newark): $74 K – $118 K
