Solar Energy Efficiency Specialist

Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Specialist/Business Development Representative to support our mid-market commercial and industrial customer segment.
• This role focuses on working with mid-to-low range energy customers, driving participation in solar sales, energy efficiency programs, electric vehicle programs and ensuring all opportunities within each customer account are fully explored.
• The ideal candidate will bring strong customer relationship and account management experience, a deep understanding of energy efficiency initiatives
  , and a commitment to delivering a high level of customer satisfaction
  .
• This position requires regular collaboration with internal teams and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams, to effectively manage customer engagement and program execution.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams, including other RES members, Customer Care, Contracting, Procurement, Legal, Marketing, IT etc, as required to deliver program services
• Enhance program delivery/customer experience and resolve business/customer issues
• Develop and maintain the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with requirements for BPU approved programs.

• B.S. Degree in Management, Engineering, Business, Finance or other relevant field or equivalent work experience plus 7 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields. In lieu of a degree,
  11 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related field.
• Experience managing vendor performance, and leading cross-functional teams;
• Energy Efficiency or Electric Vehicle program experience
• Management/leadership experience working with cross-functional teams
