The Rutgers Business School seeks part‑time instructors to teach non‑credit programs and centers. Qualified instructors will support the school’s mission, link classroom and industry, and provide a positive learning experience.

Successful candidates will instruct or co‑instruct on a variety of topics, including accounting, accounting information systems, financial accounting, government accounting, taxation, administrative studies, finance, economics, real estate, marketing, management, management science and information systems, operational management, strategic leadership, supply chain, and more.

• Instruct or co‑instruct non‑credit courses and workshops
• Prepare course materials (syllabi, presentations, reading materials, documents, etc.)
• Provide constructive feedback and advisement to participants
• Practice innovative educational methodology and pedagogy
• Generate necessary final reports for program directors

Some positions may be grant‑funded.

Classes/workshops may be presented in‑person, hybrid, or fully online. In‑person courses/workshops may be held in Newark, New Brunswick, or off‑site locations.

Minimum

Education and Experience:

Requires an advanced degree and at least one year of instructional/presentational experience, or a combination of education and experience. Degree requirement may be waived for a subject‑matter expert. A doctoral degree is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
