Rutgers Business School – Nwk and NB – Lecturers/Adjuncts (Part‑Time) – Spring 2026
Position Summary:
Rutgers Business School at Newark and New Brunswick is accepting applications for lecturers (formerly part‑time lecturers) and adjuncts for the Spring 2026 term. Courses will begin in January 2026 and run through May 2026.
The Rutgers Business School educates over 9,000 undergraduate and graduate students across two main campuses and additional sites. As a member of the nation’s leading public business schools, the program emphasizes academic excellence, research, and service.
Responsibilities- Instruct and co‑instruct courses at the graduate and/or undergraduate level (lecture, hybrid, or fully online).
- Prepare course materials including syllabi, presentations, hand‑outs, and reading lists.
- Provide academic advisement, constructive feedback, and instruction for student work.
- Respond to student emails and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Submit grades and maintain records in accordance with university policies and deadlines.
- Adhere to all University policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Employ innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning.
- Master’s degree in a related field or significant industry experience; doctoral degrees preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to teach at undergraduate or graduate level; prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and pedagogical skills.
- Capacity to use technology for blended or online instruction.
Compensation is a minimum of $2,777 per credit. Salary determinations consider qualifications, experience, and available funds.
