- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- New Jersey Department of Education Certificate in Supervisor (0106)
- Minimum of three (3) years successful experience in teaching the related content area or related experience
- Facilitate the growth and development of teachers working collaboratively with peers
- Assist teachers in curriculum alignment, articulation, integration, and implementation across grade levels
- Teach demonstration lessons and serve as a peer coach and mentor for staff
- Provide opportunities for teachers to develop effective instructional techniques, strategies, and professional behaviors
- Maintain knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards for curriculum, assessment, and instruction
- Attend and participate in ongoing professional development activities
- Enhance teachers’ knowledge of content and management skills
- Analyze and communicate student assessment data, and make program recommendations based on data analysis
- Report on the progress of program initiatives
- Perform other duties consistent with specific contractual terms of employment as assigned by the Principal
- Monitor implementation of the school district’s approved content program per student needs
- Attend and participate in in‑service workshops
- Assist classroom teachers and aides in using new technological equipment and supplementary materials
- Perform other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor
Principal
Salary, Employment Period, and Union Affiliation- Salary range: $92,000 – $128,000 (pending negotiations)
- Employment period:
Eleven (11) months - Union affiliation: CASA
