The District Superintendent invites qualified and interested persons to apply for the position of Department Chairperson.

- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- New Jersey Department of Education Certificate in Supervisor (0106)
- Minimum of three (3) years successful experience in teaching the related content area or related experience
- Facilitates the growth and development of teachers working collaboratively with peers
- Assists teachers in curriculum alignment, articulation, integration, and implementation across grade levels
- Teaches demonstration lessons and serves as a peer coach and mentor
- Provides professional development opportunities for teachers
- Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards for curriculum, assessment, and instruction
- Participates in ongoing professional development activities
- Analyzes student assessment data and makes program recommendations
- Provides reports on program initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal
- Monitors implementation of the district’s content program
- Assists with technological integration and supplementary materials
- Reports to: Principal
- Salary Range: $92,000 - $128,000
- Employment Period: Eleven (11) months
- Union Affiliation: CASA
